Tk 0.5m bounty on question leak info

The government announced on Sunday Taka 0.5 million bounty for information leading to the capture of real question paper leakers. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement after a meeting of the National Monitoring Committee on Law and Order in the education ministry. Nahid said, "Taka 0.5 million will be given as bounty to anyone who would help identify or catch the persons involved in question paper leakage." The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under country's 10 education boards began on February 1.      — BSS

BSF torture BD national to death

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 4: A Bangladeshi cattle trader has been tortured to death by Border Security Force (BSF) of India along the Shingnagar frontier in Shibganj upazila. The deceased was identified Shariful Islam, son of late Amzad Ali of Panditpara village of the upazila. Locals said Shariful went to the border near pillar No-171 early Saturday to bring cattle from India. — UNB
