The National Moon Sighting Committee has reiterated that Shab-e-Barat will be observed in the country on April 21. State Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh Md Abdullah announced the decision on Tuesday as the Shaban moon was not sighted in Bangladesh on April 6. The committee on April 6 announced that Shab-e-Barat will be observed on April 21. But there were claims that the moon had been sighted. CHATTOGRAM, Apr 16: Two workers were burnt to death while another was injured in a gas cylinder blast at an oxygen factory in the Nasirabad area on Tuesday morning. The deceased were identified as Pabitra Kumar Das, 60, hailing from Barishal, and Md Sabed, 30, hailing from Feni. The fire broke out following a cylinder blast at 'Siraj Anu Oxygen Limited'. — UNB
