52 BD Hajj pilgrims die in S Arabia

Some 52 Bangladeshi pilgrims, who went for performing Hajj this year, have so far died in Saudi Arabia. Of them, 43 were males and nine females. Forty-three died in Makkah while six in Madina, two in Jeddah and one in Mina. — UNB

CNG filling stations to remain open during Eid

The government has decided to keep all Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations open for 24 hours before and after four days of Eid-ul-Azha. Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry recently took the decision. — BSS
