A Dhaka court set on Tuesday July 02 to submit probe report on the case lodged over Bangladesh Bank (BB) reserve heist that took place in 2016. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sadbir Yasir Ahsan Chowdhury set the date as the investigation agency CID could not submit the report on Tuesday. Hackers stole $101 million from BB's accounts with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in February 2016. — BSS

Customs seize 6.5kg gold at HSIA

Customs officials detained a young man along with 65 gold bars, weighing 6.5kg, at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday night. The arrestee is Md Rajib Dewan, 35, hailing from Munshiganj district. He landed at the airport around 11.00pm by a flight of Singapore Airlines (flight no-SQ446) from Singapore. — UNB
