Youth dies as bus plunges into ditch in city

A young man was killed and several others were injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch in the Banasree area on Rampura-Demra Road on Tuesday. Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. The incident took place around 9 am when the driver of a Demra -bound bus of 'Swadhin Paribahan' lost control over the steering and plunged into a roadside ditch. The youth aged around 25, died on the spot, while several others were injured. — UNB
