Policeman dies as bus hits his bike in city

A Sub-Inspector (SI) of Rupnagar police station was killed as a bus hit his motorcycle at Rainkhula on Mirpur Zoo Road in the city on Sunday afternoon. SI Uttam Kumar, 32, was heading towards Rainkhula on Mirpur Zoo Road from Sony Cinema Hall riding a motorbike. When he reached near Rainkhula around 4:15 pm, a bus of 'Eagle Paribahan' hit the motor cycle and he died on the spot. — UNB
