BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman meets Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, at his residence in the capital on Monday. — Collected BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman met Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB), Pir of Charmonai, Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim on Monday evening.
The BNP chairman went to the residence of Pir of Charmonai Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim on Siddheswari Road in the capital's Ramna area along with party leaders for the meeting at 7:15 pm.
On this occasion, Karim welcomed Tarique with flowers. During the meeting, they also exchanged pleasantries.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, BNP Chairman's Press Secretary Saleh Shibly, and Nayeb-e-Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim were present during the meeting.
Tarique left Karim's residence at 7:54 pm.
Earlier, Tarique left Gulshan at 6:30 pm to pay the visit.
