Two workers die in Rampal power plant accident

BAGERHAT, Mar 17: Two workers were killed as a heavy caging pipe fell on them from a crane at Rampal Power Plant near Sundarbans here on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Asabur, 40, of Adabar village in Rampal upazila and Nasir Uddin, 24, hailing from Chapainawabganj district. A heavy caging pine suddenly fell on them while the duo along with other workers were doing piling works at the plant, leaving both of them dead on the spot. — UNB
