Yemen PM to flee Aden as rivals advance

Sanaa, Jan 30: Yemen's prime minister was preparing to flee to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday after separatists backed by the United Arab Emirates seized the area around the presidential palace in the southern city of Aden in fierce battles, security officials said. Separatists in war-ravaged Yemen have surrounded the presidential palace in the government's de facto capital Aden, moving closer Tuesday to taking full control of the southern city. — Agencies
