4 more die following a day with zero death

Four more people have died from dengue, while 153 new patients have been hospitalized with the Aedes mosquito-borne disease across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours up to Thursday morning, reports bdnews24.com.
There were no reported dengue deaths on Wednesday.
The total number of patients hospitalized with the disease this year has now risen to 100,711, with the total number of deaths from the illness standing at 569.
The Directorate General of Health Services, or DGHS, said as many as 42 new patients were hospitalised in the Dhaka metropolitan area until Thursday.
In addition, 34 were hospitalised in the Dhaka Division, two in the Mymensingh Division, 13 in the Chattogram Division, 25 in the Khulna Division, six in the Rajshahi Division, one in the Rangpur Division, and 30 in the Barishal Division.
As many as 804 patients are currently undergoing treatment for dengue in hospitals across the country. Of them, 318 are hospitalised in the capital and 486 are outside Dhaka.
The DGHS has been keeping records of dengue hospitalisations and fatalities since 2000.
Since then, a record 321,179 dengue hospitalisations were logged in 2023. That year also saw the most deaths with 1,705.
