5.3-magnitude earthquake jolts coast of Myanmar

YANGON, Nov 23: A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Myanmar Sunday. The tremor, which began at 10:39am, was felt in neighbouring country Thailand as well.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) reported the epicenter was 267 km west-southwest in Dawei of Myanmar, at a depth of 10 km.
However, no damage or casualties have been reported so far.
The Myanmar quake was not felt in Bangladesh which was jolted Friday with a 5.7 magnitude quake and few aftershocks on Saturday.
