Abdur Rouf promoted to Bridge Division secretary

Mohammad Abdur Rouf has been promoted to secretary of the Bridge Division under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges. He was additional secretary of the division.

Mr Rouf will also be executive director of Bangladesh Bridge Authority as ex officio.

He was the managing director (MD) of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).

Mr Rouf was appointed as the MD of DMTCL on September 9 after the government cancelled the appointment of MAN Siddique, who held the post illegally. Mr Rouf was also the member secretary of DMTCL.
