Badiul Alam's 22nd death anniversary today

Freedom fighter, politician, and advocate Badiul Alam's 22nd death anniversary is today (February 10).

He was born in the Sikder family of Fatehnagar village in the Chandonaish thana in 1926. He did his undergraduation from Calcutta University in 1946 and followed it up with an LLB from Dhaka University. During the Liberation War in Chattogram he was an Awami League Regional President and also later took on the responsibility of the Socialist Party Chittagong South Division President. After the Liberation War in 1972 he became Vice President of the Lawyer's Association and in 1981 became the President of the Association. To commemorate the occasion `Advocate Badiul Alam Memorial Foundation' will organize a dua mahfil at Chandonaish.
