Banglalink launches int'l roaming packs

Banglalink has introduced international roaming packs that can be purchased in Bangladeshi taka, removing the need for international payment methods.

The new service allows customers to buy roaming packages using their mobile balance while travelling abroad.

It replaces the earlier system that required international credit or debit cards with US dollar endorsement.

The packs cover more than 50 countries and can be activated through the MyBL app. Customers can also

activate services via Banglalink's WhatsApp helpline at 01950111111 or by emailing [roaming@banglalink.net] (mailto:roaming@banglalink.net).

The service was launched at Banglalink's headquarters in Dhaka recently.

Chief Executive Officer Johan Buse, Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman, and Marketing Director Mehedi Al Amin were present at the event.

Mehedi Al Amin said the initiative was intended to make roaming more accessible for customers without international payment facilities. According to the operator, the packs will benefit Bangladeshis travelling abroad for work, study, religious purposes, and family visits.
