BNP vows free pry healthcare if elected: Khasru

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury on Sunday said BNP will introduce free primary medical services if the party comes to power, reports BSS.

"Everyone's aspiration is very high. We will perform our best, if the party (BNP) is voted to power. We have already completed home works how to create job opportunity for one crore people, "he said at a discussion on the 31-point vision of the future state and the context of the health system given by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) organized the event at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU).

Urging the DAB leaders to reach the commitment of BNP regarding health sector across the country, Amir Khasru said everyone should post it on social platforms including Facebook.

"Assure the common people and tell them that BNP will introduce free primary medical services for the people across the country if the party comes to power. BNP has already started working according to plan in this regard," he added.

The BNP senior leader said the previous political ideology is no more. Politics has been changed and the concepts of people have also been changed, he added. Khasru said, "We have to be tolerant. There is no chance of moving away from democracy.
