Bonded warehouses for trade boost

The government has introduced a new provision to extend bonded-warehouse-like facilities to industries through a simplified process, aiming to promote trade, attract investment and improve supply-chain efficiency for businesses of all sizes.
The Finance Minister has proposed introducing a new chapter, along with several provisions in the Customs Act, to facilitate the establishment of Free Trade Zones, similar to those in many countries around the world.
