Officer-in-charge (OC) of Dhanmondi Police Station Ali Ahmed Masud, however, stated that some bones were found in Dhanmondi 32. It is yet to be ascertained whether the bones belong to a human or some other animals, he said, adding that the crime scene unit will examine the bones in their lab.
When asked whether the bones were discovered at the residence in Dhanmondi 32, the OC said, "I cannot specify the exact location where they were found. However, I can confirm that these bones were found in Dhanmondi 32."
Earlier on Sunday, the firemen pumped water out of the basement of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's house, following suspicions about the presence of a secret detention cell. However, nothing was found after it was completely drained.
