BUBT student dies in city bus accident

A student of the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) was killed in a bus accident in the city's Mirpur area, reports bdnews24.com.

Other students from BUBT blocked the road from 11am to 2.0pm to protest the accident.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Masud Rana, a fourth-year BBA student. He was heading to his campus on a rickshaw in the early hours of Monday.

Masud fell to the ground after a Dishari Paribahan bus hit the rickshaw from behind. The bus then ran over him and fled the scene.
