Cops find woman, two daughters dead in city

Police have found the bodies of a woman and her two minor daughters at their home in city's Mirpur, reports bdnews24.com.

Darussalam Police Station OC Selimuzzaman told the news agency he heard about the incident and sent a team to the house near Mirpur Bangla College.

Another police official at the scene said they broke the door of the house and found the bodies of the woman and her two daughters in a pool of blood with their throats slit.

The woman also had a sharp weapon injury in her belly, he added.

The woman has been identified as Jamine Akter, 35, wife of Hasibul Islam, an official of the Parliament Secretariat.
