Court orders to seize 130 bighas of land of DB Harun, his brother

A court in Dhaka on Wednesday ordered to seize 130 bighas of land belonging to former Chief of the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Harun or Rashid and his brother ABM Shahriar, reports BSS.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order after an application in this regard by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in the court.

The court also ordered the freezing of 10 bank accounts of Harun and 11 bank accounts of Shahriar.

Of the land, 100 bighas belong to Harun and 30 bighas to his brother Shahriar, according to the court sources.
