Dhaka Boat Club asked to vacate 10 acres of land

The Dhaka Boat Club Limited authorities have been asked to vacate 10 acres of land in Savar within a week, which is allegedly occupied by it illegally.
Issuing a directive on Tuesday, the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) also warned the Boat Club of legal action if they do not comply with the instruction.
The BWDB claimed that the land was acquired by it for building a flood control embankment under the Dhaka Integrated Flood Protection Project.
