Father, daughter found dead in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 19: A young man and his four-year-old daughter were found dead at their Buchukkya Colony house in Nimtola area under Bandar police station in the port city on Saturday.

Police recovered the throat-slit bodies of the victims from the house in the morning. The deceased were identified as Md Arif (32) and his daughter Fatema.

Sources and locals said Arif was living in the colony with his family. The two are believed to have been killed by miscreants

sometime on Friday night. Later, local people informed the police about the incident.

Sukanta Bhattachariya, Officer-in-Charge of Bandar police station, said the police recovered the bodies and sent them to the hospital morgue for autopsy.

A case was filed with Bandar police station in this connection.
