Injured students to get lifetime waiver of tuition fees

The interim government has decided to provide lifetime waiver of the tuition fees for the students injured in the student uprising.
The Ministry of Education disclosed the decision in a notification on Tuesday.
The ministry has also mentioned in the notification what process should be adopted for tuition fee waiver.
"The government has decided to waive the tuition fees of the students from secondary to university levels," the notification reads.
The injured student will get the tuition fee waiver in all public and private schools, colleges, madrasas and universities from secondary to university levels. To get the educational facility, the injured students will have to apply to the heads of their respective educational institutions along with medical records.
Authorities of the educational institutions would verify the applications and take measures immediately to waive the tuition fees of the students, it read.
It is also says that the decision to waive tuition fees will come into effect in all educational institutions of the country from the current stage of the education life of the injured students to the university level.
All the educational institutions concerned will immediately take necessary measures to implement this decision, it added.
