The medical board formed by the government for BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's treatment said on Tuesday Khaleda has problems on her shoulder, hand and hip bones, reports UNB.

"However, her blood reports were found normal," Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Professor Dr Shamsuzzaman Sheheen, head of the four-member medical team, told reporters.

The x-ray reports of Khaleda Zia suggested that she has problems in her shoulder, left hand and hip bones, said Shamsuzzaman, also the head of Orthopedic Department of DMCH.

Earlier on Saturday, Khaleda was taken to Radiology and Imaging Department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) for various tests including several x-rays of her bones as the medical board suggested.

Meanwhile, a Cumilla court rejected on Tuesday the bail petition of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in a case filed over the 2015 arson attack on a bus in Chouddagram upazila that left eight people dead.
