Khaleda sick, relatives fail to meet her

Though they got permission from the jail authorities, the relatives of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia could not meet her on Saturday due to her illness, said her sister, reports UNB.

"We've come to know Khaleda Zia is suffering from fever and body aches. So, she couldn't meet us as she was unable to come down to the guestroom from the 1st floor," Khaleda's sister Selina Islam told journalists at the gate of Old Dhaka Central Jail.

Selina and four other relatives entered the jail around 4.0pm and came out of it about 45 minutes later.
