Metro service to remain suspended on Eid day

Metro rail operation will remain suspended only on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr, says Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) on its Facebook page.
The state-owned company stated that metro rail, also known as Mass Rapid Transit Line-6, will operate as usual from the following day.
The demand for metro rail service continues to grow, as its ridership has surpassed 400,000 several times since February.
