MRT pass registration suspended until Nov 7

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), the operator of the high-speed Metro Rail, has suspended new registrations for the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) pass, the rail's exclusive travel card.
Additionally, renewals for damaged cards will also remain halted during this time.
"Due to unavoidable circumstances, card registration and re-issuance will be unavailable until November 07, 2024. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience," DMTCL authorities said.

According to the post, due to unavoidable circumstances, MRT pass registration and reissuance services will remain suspended until November 7.
DMTCL apologised for any inconvenience caused by the temporary disruption.
Currently, the metro rail operates from Saturday to Thursday, running from 7:10 am to 9:40 pm, and on Fridays, it operates from 3:30 pm to 9:40 pm.
