Home Affairs Adviser Brigadier General (Retired) M Sakhawat Hussain today said members of the police force, who have not yet joined duty, will have to join by Thursday, reports BSS.
"Thursday is last time, if no one joins by Thursday, it will be assumed that they are not interested in the job," he told journalists at his ministry office.
The interim government's Adviser said that police were used for political purposes, adding, "Lethal weapons were given to police. It was not right to give such weapons to police."
