Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkho (Rajuk) has decided to enhance city building monitoring and prepare a list of unapproved buildings in its eight zones by the end of February.
A Rajuk official said the decision came in its last coordination meeting at an instruction of the Rajuk chairman.
The relevant zonal building inspectors would conduct a survey to identify the buildings constructed without following any approved design by using a specific format, the official said. The survey notice will be published in newspapers.
It was decided in the meeting that the zonal directors would be instructed to go by the full designs of the buildings in his relevant zone on a monthly basis and present the report in the coordination meeting.
Besides, the inspectors will visit at least 20 houses every month and it will be ensured by the authorised officers and zonal directors. The inspectors will keep their visit books which will be verified by the authorised officers and zonal directors.
The zonal directors will visit the zones at least on four occasions in a month to enhance monitoring.
