Samrat hospitalised

Expelled Jubo League Dhaka South unit President Ismail Hossain Samrat was admitted to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in the city on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Sources at the hospital said Samrat is now undergoing treatment at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital.

A three-member medical board, headed by director of the hospital Afzalur Rahman, was formed for his treatment.

The authorities of Keraniganj jail took Samrat to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 7.00 am after he complained of chest pain.

Later, he was shifted to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases.
