Submit detailed info regarding deposit, lending rates online

The Bangladesh Bank has issued a new directive to submit the detailed info on deposit and lending rates by all the scheduled banks of the country online, reports BSS.

The central bank issued such directive for introducing two new reporting formats while the directive will become effective from this month.

These information should have to be submitted through two reporting formats on monthly basis by the 10th date of following month on concerned platform.

These related info should have to be submitted in details through specific structure.

The Bangladesh Bank believes that through issuance of this new directive, the country's banking sector would be more transparent and information-based while it would make significant contribution to the economic planning.
