Trump win will not have major impact on ties

Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential elections will not have major impact on the US Bangladesh bilateral ties, said foreign adviser Touhid Hossain on Thursday.

"There is no need for speculation, let him take over the office. It will take two months and then we can see what they want to do. We will chalk out our course of action in line with that" Mr Touhid said adding that the bilateral ties between two countries are are based on issues not on parties.

We have dealt with the Biden administration on many issues, which were the continuation of the previous Trump administration, he added.
