Professor Dr Md Awal Hossain Molla was honoured in the Best Book category, while Professor Dr Pranab Kumar Panday of the Department of Public Administration received the Best Researcher award.

Under the Best Student category, one student with the highest CGPA from each of the faculty's 10 departments was selected. RU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Faridul Islam, who attended the programme as the chief guest, said the awardees now carry a greater responsibility to apply their knowledge for the benefit of society.

Presiding over the programme, RU Pro-VC and FSS Acting Dean Professor Dr Md Farid Uddin Khan congratulated the recipients, and said merit is built on dedication and effort. He also expressed hope that the Dean's Award would continue as a regular tradition in the coming years.
