190 new dengue cases in 24 hrs

At least 190 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals in the 24 hours leading up to Friday morning. Of these, 127 cases were reported from outside Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The new cases bring the total number of infections to 23,410, with the death toll standing at 95. Of the total patients, 21,998 have recovered and been discharged. Currently, 1,317 dengue patients are receiving treatment at hospitals.

Besides, one new Covid-19 infection was confirmed over a 24-hour period from 8 am Thursday to 8 am Friday.
