Candidates from Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions selected in the second phase audition of knowledge-based reality show "Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid" for final round to be held in Dhaka showing off certificates after their success The second phase audition of knowledge-based reality show titled "Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid" with the patronage of Channel- i was held at Dhaka Residential Model College Wednesday Last.
Twenty contestants among the 2000 participants of Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions were selected to take part in the final round in Dhaka, says a press release.
Ispahani Group, one of the leading business conglomerates in the country, is the sponsor of the show, where students participated after undergoing different tests, including Bangla spelling, pronunciation and the correct use of grammar-at divisional levels.
The selection started at 9 am in the city. The judges were Dr. Shihab Shariar and Hosne Ara, professor of Dhaka University.Later, famous recitation artiste Mahidul Islam,chief guest Dr Soumitra Shekhar also professor of Dhaka University and Principal of Dhaka Residential Model College. Principal Brigadier General Md Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan handed over prizes among the selected candidates.
The students from class VI-X participated in the contest after undergoing different tests of 40 marks including Bangla spelling, pronunciation and the correct use of grammar.
The topper will get a talent scholarship of Tk 1 million, and the first and second runners-up will get Tk 0.3m and Tk 0.2m respectively. In addition, 10 other winners will receive a laptop each and books worth around Tk 50,000, and bookshelves to create personal libraries.
