36,601 pilgrims return from KSA

A total of 36,601 Hajj pilgrims have returned home until Thursday after performing the holy Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia (KSA).

Of them, 5,006 pilgrims returned home under the government management, while 31,595 under private management.

The national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines transported 14,182 pilgrims, Saudi Airlines 15,458, and Flynas Airlines 6,961.

The number of return Hajj flights was 93 until Thursday. Among the return Hajj flights, Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated 36 flights, while Saudi Airlines 39, and Flynas Airlines 18.

Meanwhile, a total of 36 Bangladeshi pilgrims died so far in the KSA during the Hajj. Of them, 27 were men and nine women.

The return Hajj flights will continue until July 10. The first Hajj flight started on April 29, and flights continued until May 31. This year, a total of 87,157 Bangladeshi pilgrims have performed Hajj on June 5.
