572 new dengue cases reported

Bangladesh recorded 572 new dengue cases in the past 24 hours until Saturday morning, health officials said, reports BSS.

Of the new cases, 90 were hospitalised in Barishal division, 132 in Chattogram division, 116 in Dhaka division outside the capital, 67 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 132 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 32 in Mymensingh division and three in Sylhet division, according to a DGHS statement.

Since the beginning of this year's dengue outbreak, the country has recorded 377 deaths and 93,766 cases.
