The 74th birth anniversary of Mirza Ali Behrouze Ispahani was observed at Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School in Chattogram on Wednesday, says a statement.
He was the son of late Mirza Mehdi Ispahani, founder of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School, and the brother of Mirza Salman Ispahani, a renowned industrialist, educationist and chairman of Ispahani Group.
On this occasion, a quiz contest, chess, drawing, beautiful hand writing and essay competitions were held.
Recitation from the holy Quran, milad, doa mahfil were also held at the school auditorium seeking divine peace for his departed soul.
A colourful wall magazine made by the students of Mirza Ali Behrouze Ispahani House also featured in the programme.
From Mirza Ali Behrouze Ispahani House, Khorshed Alam, Sayed Ahmed Phalsh, Jesmin Akter and Nadia Tabassum, senior teachers of the school, delivered a speech on the precious aspects of his life.
