AAA new office opens

US ambassador in Bangladesh Marcia S. B. Bernicat has inaugurated the new office premises of American Alumni Association (AAA) in the capital.

AAA president Syed Almas Kabir welcomed Bernicat, who also co-chairs the association, and past EC members at the AAA's new secretariat at 36 Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani on Tuesday, said a press release.

The secretariat facilities include a members' lounge and other facilities which could be used by the members. AAA secretary Imtiaj Rasul, treasurer Engr. Shafiul Alam Talukder, EC members Ashik Imran Khan and S A Mansur, public affairs officer at US Embassy in Dhaka Nicholas Papp and past EC members were present at the function.
