Al Mahmud's 6th death anniv observed

The 6th death anniversary of poet Al Mahmud, whose poetry inspired freedom-loving people from the 1952 Language Movement to the Liberation War of 1971 and the July Uprising, was observed on Sunday, reports BSS.
Various social and literary organisations across the country arranged programmes, marking the death anniversary of the eminent Bangla poet. These included discussions on the poet's life and works, as well as recitations and musical performances.
