Anjum's body exhumed after 72 days of burial

RAJSHAHI, Oct 16 (BSS): Body of Saquib Anjum, who was killed during the Anti-Discriminatory Student Movement on August 5, has been exhumed after 72 days of burial as per the directives of court in the city.

The body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) for autopsy.

Executive Magistrate Oyon Farhan Shams, Investigation Officer Moshiar Rahman and deceased family members were present at the time of exhumation at Tikapara Graveyard on Wednesday.

Investigation Officer (IO) Moshiar Rahman said the body of Anjum was buried without a post mortem due to lack of doctor and police just after the mass upsurge on August 5.
