Army chief leaves for Kuwait on three-day visit

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman leaves Dhaka for Kuwait on Sunday on a three-day official visit, an Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) release said.

The army chief is leading a five-member delegation, as he will make courtesy meetings with high profile civil and military officials of the Kuwait government. Waker-Uz-Zaman will also exchange views for developing military related bilateral cooperation, the ISPR said.

The visit is expected to further strengthen the relations with Kuwait armed forces along with

reinforcing confidence, it added.
