Avoid fiscal deals while giving services to people CJ asks SC officials

Chief Justice (CJ) Syed Refaat Ahmed asked the Supreme Court (SC) officials on Wednesday to avoid all kinds of financial transactions while giving services to the justice-seeking people and their lawyers.

Stern actions would be taken if anyone's involvement in any financial transaction is found, warned the CJ.

He further directed the officials to strictly follow the code of conducts and ensure services to the recipients within the quickest possible time.

The CJ gave the directives in a session at the SC conference room, organised for the officials of the ranks of assistant registrar and above.

He hoped that the SC officials would create a precedent for the officials of other institutions by providing good services and well behaviour to the justice-seeking people and their appointed lawyers.

The SC has a total of 2,500 officials, including one registrar general, three registrars, four additional registrars, one special officer, 12 deputy registrars and 20 assistant registrars.
