Bangladesh Association of Contact Centre and Outsourcing (BACCO) has pledged its full support to the July Martyrs Memorial Foundation, which was formed to honour those martyred during the July-August uprising and provide employment opportunities for their families.
BACCO made the pledge during a meeting with the Memorial Foundation held at the BACCO secretariat on Saturday.
The meeting began with a solemn tribute to the martyrs and injured persons, acknowledging their sacrifices in the fight for a prosperous, equitable, and corruption-free Bangladesh.
BACCO President Tanveer Ibrahim said BACCO stands in solidarity with those who were injured in their pursuit of a better Bangladesh.
"We are dedicated to supporting their recovery and reintegration into society by offering employment that matches their skills."
General Secretary Faisal Alim said those who were martyred, injured, and disabled in the uprising are our nation's true heroes.
"We will ensure their sacrifices are not forgotten, and BACCO will always stand with them."
Mir Mahbubur Rahman (Snigdho), General Secretary of the July Martyrs Memorial Foundation, praised BACCO's efforts, saying, "As someone deeply involved in the outsourcing industry, I see tremendous potential for creating job opportunities in the IT sector, which will contribute significantly to Bangladesh's economic growth. I applaud BACCO for supporting the victims of the uprising in this way."
