Today (Monday) is the 22nd death anniversary of freedom fighter, politician, and advocate Badiul Alam, says a statement. He was born in Fatehnagar village in the Chandonaish thana in 1926.
He did his undergraduate degree from Calcutta University in 1946 and followed it up with a LLB from Dhaka University.
After the Liberation War in 1972 he became Vice President of the Lawyer's Association and in 1981 became the President of the Association.
To commemorate the occasion 'Advocate Badiul Alam Memorial Foundation' will organise a dua mahfil at Chandonaish.
