BD, Myanmar border guards hold jt patrol

COX'S BAZAR, Mar 11: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Guard Police (BGP) of Myanmar completed a joint patrol on Tumbru and Ghundhum borders on Sunday.
According to BGB sources, soldiers of BGB and BGP took part in the one hour long joint border patrol near berbed wire fence Sunday morning.
After 10 months, border guards of both countries performed this joint patrol on the border to ease tension and keep normal situation.
When contacted Commanding Officer of the 34th battalion of BGB in Cox's Bazar Lt Col Manzurul Hasan Khan confirmed the matter.
BGB sent a proposal to the BGP to increase the patrol on the Tumbru and Ghundum border, sources said.
