BGB seize 9,300 Yaba pills

BENAPOLE, Jan 01 (UNB): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized 9,300 pieces of Yaba pills from Agrabhulot border here on Monday night.
Being informed that a gang of smugglers was bringing a consignment of Yaba tablets from India, a team of BGB conducted a drive there and seized contraband pills worth Tk 2.3 million, said Lt Col Imran H Sarker, commanding officer of BGB-21 battalion.
Later, a case was filed with Benapole Port Police Station in this connection.
