Biman ends pre-Hajj flight operations

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has successfully concluded its pre-Hajj flight operations with its final flight, BG335, which departed on Saturday.

Biman transported a total of 41,902 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through 108 dedicated flights, according to a Biman press statement.

The state-owned airline company also provided comprehensive ground-handling services to Saudia and Flynas.

The airline started the pre-Hajj flight operations on, April 29, and since then has been actively providing services to pilgrims departing from the Ashkona Hajj Camp in Kurmitola, as well as from Chattogram and Sylhet.

The post-Hajj return flights to bring the Bangladeshi pilgrims back home is scheduled to begin on June 10, and continue until July 10.
