BMU photo exhibition commemorates July Uprising

Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) on Wednesday launched a three-day photo exhibition to commemorate the July Uprising, according to a press statement.
BMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shahinul Alam inaugurated the exhibition at its Shaheed Dr. Milon Hall.
The photo exhibition showcases various historical events of the July Uprising through still images, including the murder of Martyr Abu Sayeed on July 16, 2024 and the victory of the students in the revolution on August 5.
Moreover, a voluntary blood donation programme, free medical screening, and a blood donor registration event were organised at Shahid Dr. Milon Hall.
Besides, as part of the state mourning on the occasion of July Martyrs' Day on Wednesday, the national flag was flown at half-mast on the university campus at 8 AM and a special prayer was held at the BMU central mosque for salvation of the July Martyrs after Zuhr.
Teachers, doctors, officers, nurses and employees of the university participated in these programmes.
