BR starts selling Eid tickets

Bangladesh Railway (BR) on Thursday started selling tickets online as the demand of homebound travelers for advance tickets is expected to soar ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.

Eid-ul-Adha begins in the evening of June 6, depending on the sighting of the moon.

The BR sold tickets for the travelers of June 1 on Thursday. The tickets for journeys till June 6 will be sold in the next five days, with tickets for each day of the journey have been set as available for only one day.

Tickets for the journey starting from June 9 will be available from May 30 as per the same condition.
